3vs3 CTF EU Tourney

  • Hello fellas :)
    Theres a little team which would like to organize a 3vs3 CTF Tourney for EU players.

    Some quick information:
    Start Date: 22.3 2009
    Team Size: 3-6 Players

    If you have question , want to sign in your team and blabla visit http://nex-ctf-tourney.ath.cx/forum :D
    At the moment the maximum size is 8 teams , but if many people are interested we might change it :)
    I hope some are interested..
    Please post question etc. at this page , so it won't be such a mess :P

  • No worries if you cant see the website, its under developement. In 1-2 days you can give it a try.
    Mirio please commit a mappool! :P Also about the schedule: I would wait until the release of 2.5, and play on a 2.5 server, im not sure we want the old crylink for competitive play anymore :D (reedember lol...) Also playing with antilag is much cooler since it provides equal chances.

  • Antilag doesn't work for all people and even makes gameplay worse.

  • Yeah it doesnt work for people under 40 ping because they wont notice any difference, but there are many players with the average ping of 100 (like me) who really appriciate it. Maybe for the final release the lag it causes will get minor again, but also i dont notice almost any lag these days on de green, so maybe its solved already.

  • With 60 ping I get the same feeling as playing with > 120.

  • what about makeing teams for player who dont have a clan? so more can participate!

  • You DONT have to be in a clan to play this tourney. You just must have a stable team with max 6 ppl (only 3 can play).

    • 1 Team = 3-6 Players (3 who play and one or more substitutes)
    • It's not nessecary to be in a clan. The 3 Players can also be in 3 different clans! Obviously clanless people can parcipitate too.
    • Of course you can participate as a clan too
    • You have to post a teamname (e.g. : Fragmachines (stupid name :D))
    • Post a new topic about your team (probably the best name for it would be the teamname)

  • The tourney won't play on 1 day , not on 1 weekend too :P

    i'm the co-organisator with mirio ;)
    The turney will be moved for few day, because many players can't play at this Weekend.
    I haven't an exactly date yet, but i think it starts at wednesday after the 20th. So the 25th. :)

    And like mirio said, the turney won't be only one day, so games can also get moved to a later or earlier day!! 8)

    I hope you did understand me *lol* well, my english.. :roll: :roll: :roll: :lol:

    ShakeADelic
    [SR]
    [INF]


    there will be 2 groups and the 1st and 2nd of each group will be in the KO Round.
    -> Minimum 3 matches for 1 team :)
