  • Meh...Not satisfied with this one, however, since Hillis went and posted a frag on me last month, I'll do the same. Here's my contribution (and first ever):

    Yeah, I'll post a better one later...If I'll ever get one :D

Edit: Wow, Looking at chubbys and ronans, mine is shitty :D

  • In future clips, please do provide better slowmotion-variations (atm its too extreme).

And also, make use of the demo cam please :D

allright! But it's annoying to play with those commands unless u bind the commands for that (binding is another annoying thing). The solution? Use the new menu with the enhanced teamselection window (press F5 to show it): new_menu_latest_version.pk3

U can do in a simply way lots of stuffs playing back demos and also there is a BUTTON to record the video ;)

Put the file in nexuiz/data folder to enable it.

Yes. It's generally too much unresponsive and slow. AND.... it's almost unusable if u get low fps while recording. I suggested to Mand1nga (the author of this awesome demo_camera) to lower the cvar camera_speed_attenuation to 10 instead of 30, but he ignored me. 10 is the right value IMO, u can control it in a reasonable way but in a enough smooth way.

For all the commands/cvars available for this camera thingy, type camera and press TAB.

I agree, cvar camera_speed_attenuation 10 is definitely much better! :D
I do hope this value could make its way to being default :)

Terencehill: Indeed. Also I don't remember to had read your very last post. I guess you highlighted me on IRC or something, next time use a reliable channel (forum PM, email, dev.at) for things that you feel are important to you :)

And yes, some days ago I was thinking about lowering this default, 30 is overly smooth. I will update it soon.

My 3rd submission. It's not the frag, that realy particular is, but the situation :)
7-8 for blue... one minute remaining... one capture is needed for a tie...

This is my entry for this month. I was steaming, cause don had just telefragged me and ruined my frag run, so he got what he deserved ^^ . The last nex shot is purely impulsive, i didnt see him when i just turned. I have also 1 extremely nice and lucky ctf flag save, i ll post it when i get round to understand the new demoing quality better (i m lazy now...).

We need to turn this into "lucky event of the month" instead, because other than frags there are a lot of awesome things that can happen in Nexuiz :)

You can always use Handbrake to convert them.

start handbrake, press button "Source", choose your OGV file, choose your output-file, quality and container format. Press button "start".
