shortfacts:

- up to 32 players
- singleelimination
- bo3 (if the playercount actually reaches 32, the first rounds before the quarterfinals will be played bo1)

that is exactly what i had planned (or merely dreamed of :>). well i can collect the demos of all the matches, but unfortunately im not able to create fragmovies and such. that should be the duty of someone else then. any idea who might have the skills?

ok my friends, the first NFC cup has come to an end and i can definately say that there will be more action coming up in the future!

first, i'd like to thank Green'Marine for assisting and helping me in so many questions, without him this cup would not have been running so well! Ofc thanks to esteel and s0rk for uploading the custom maps to their servers, thanks to all the contenders and special thanks to SINsniper, who participated under horrible wifi circumstances sitting in a hotel lobby and even paying for it !!! Respect to you guys!

So, we had 14 players checked in and after some exciting matches, Green'Marine grabbed the first place after defeating myself (:)) in the grand final.
so the final standings are:

Awesome stuff and of course thanks to all the demos you guys uploaded for me!
Like i said, there WILL be more stuff coming up! next action planned is another onedaycup on february 14th and after that i plan on starting a big spring tournament with groupstage, doubleelimination playoffs and some PRICE MONEY (yes indeed my friends, moneeeeeeytoes!!) .

so dudes, spread the word and lets look forward to some great new action!

Thank you very much for organising the tournament. It's always nice to get some competition into the game, helps to keep at least those motivated who kept playing the game for such a long time. And hopefully new players will hop on the wagon in the future. My demos can be found here.
