Is it possible to run Nexuiz using the XBOX 360 Controller for PC. I would like to know if anybody under linux has gotten the controller to work, or if Nexuiz will recognize it.

I would consider buying one of these controllers if it were the case, but don't have a use for it otherwise.

If nobody knows for certain, I will try it tomorrow.
I don't think aiming would be as precise as with a mouse, but I can see the ergonomic benefits.

If the controller registers itself as joystick it might work.. The Nexuiz 2.1 SDL builds and, with different variable names, also the windows wgl build (nexuiz.exe) support joysticks. Though there is NO menu support for this other then maybe the button assignments and i have not yet updated the wiki listing the variables to 2.1 but they all start with "joy" so entering that in the console and pressing tab will show you all the available settings.

I have however now idea if its possible to use the controller running linux.
