Please help with this, I've put nexuiz on my new computer and it's really really odd, my gun is hovering in front of me and the view looks like im viewing the game through an insects eyes or something, look, and please fix

I guess you changed the "FOV" setting to something really high. Its fixable though.
Take a look at 'options/player/field of view' the normal setting is 90, some players change it to 100, 110 or even 120 as you can see more that way but as you noticed the view gets distorted and i think more then 110 is not just ugly but things get too small..
You can also change this by opening the gameconsole and entering fov 90 there. (Once you know those things it can be faster to use the console instead of the menu..)

Heh cool pic. I love high fov, not for playing but for running around with it, it looks so cool But yours seem like a perfect balance of not too distorted yet enough to make it look abnormal. Or maybe it's the high setting on ghrapics that make that pic nice. I will tomorrow fetch my new motherboard from the postoffice in hope that this one work so that I can but in my new graphics card to be able to play high too.

Yeah me too but i do not like greater fov.. things get too small and hard to see. IMO fov 100 is not that much different from fov 90 and both are too small so 110 is just the right one
