hi

just a quick issue..i hope...

when i start a game, my mouse doesn't move up and down. it works fine in the menus and options, it just won't work during play. actually, my mouse runs fine in everything else on my computer. any suggestions? i can try to provide more details if needed

Do you still have an old version? 2.1 is current and today hopefully 2.2.1 will be announced.. There was an error in earlier versions that when one clicked 'reset' in one of the menu this mouse problem occured..
You can open the console with shift-escape and type
m_pitch 0.022
That should hopefully fix that.. if not try to use the 'other' binary nexuiz.exe vs nexuiz-sdl.exe. If that does still not help come back

May I ask how Nexuiz runs for you? Your 3D hardware seems to be pretty low-end (no offense intended, of course) and you're having Beryl turned on, too. I guess you're disabling basically every fancy effect you could find?

Compiz did not seem to have an impact on nexuiz runing on either my laptop nor desktop.. so i hope it does also not have any for ohmyiv

well..honestly, i DO have VERY low end graphics and i switch from beryl to metacity or kde before i play...it does kind of lag when i play in beryl..as far as in-game options, i don't use reall-time lighting...
when i'm not playing 3d games my beryl runs great, and i do have a lot of eye candy
