Sorry to bring this back on topic

It appears there is a problem with the latest release of SDL, so this problem only appears to effect SDL versions. The issue has been resolved in SDL's cvs version, I'll have to talk to LordHavoc and see how he wants to handle this one. 1.5.1 may contain a pre-1.2.10 SDL library if there is no official SDL release before Nexuiz's 1.5.1 release.

Mom, maybe I should mention this was on the regular nexuiz.exe

Can you launch nexuiz.exe -condebug
open the console, and type "vid_fullscreen 0" followed by "vid_restart"
then quit and post the log please?

The PC where I had that problem is standing about 150 miles from where I am now. I'm gonna do the same with the PC in front of me in about an hour.

At least it has the same VGA and the same OS.

Is your desktop running at 16bpp by any chance?

I changed it.

I'm used to running at 16bit colour, there were times when You got a much better performance then without visual differences...

And I can assure You, we're spendin enough time with it so there's no hormonal accumulation as older people don't need too much sleep
