Hi all

I've been really addicted to this game,so wanted to set up a server.
It runs Deathmatch and in the Console there is (sometimes) this error:

LHNET_Read : Recufrom Returned error: WSAECONNRESET

Sometimes it only shows up at the console,other times it spams the console full with this error and then there is a crash.


Server: AMD 1800+
Memory: 1024 MB
OS win2000 Server.

Any ideas ?

I seem to get that on the client side, and it just takes a little longer to connect, but it works. I'm not sure what it could be though.

Which Nexuiz version?

Can you upload the full crash report somewhere? To read it, Start/Run drwtsn32, you should find it in there. Another place would be Event Viewer, where you should find two reports - one by Windows, and one by Dr. Watson. The latter is the useful one.

will see what i can do to get a error report or something here.

i thought it was maby a bad network driver,but no,i also have changed the OS to win xp Pro,but still the same error.

dr.watson gives no errors at all.

to who can i send a serverlog?
maby some developer can figure some things out with it.

A server log won't contain useful crash info.

Please wait for some days since I usually don't use Windows - but I will then describe a way to use OllyDbg to get an useful backtrace for those for whom Dr. Watson fails.

Did you use XP-Antispy or other tools like that? These are the usual cause of Dr. Watson to fail. Another cause would be installing an IDE, but if that's the case, click "Debug" in the crash dialog, find the "call stack" window and give us a screenshot or text copy of that.
