can't pick up ammo for m.g.

I only can pick up ammo for m.g., when I pick up a new one..?- atx

I know I should be able to pick up ammo, but since I updated from 2.1 to 2.2.1 and later to 2.2.2 I cannot pick up mg ammo. I dont have this problem with other weapons.
When I go to the ammo it disappears when I touch it and there is the noise that tells me I got it, but I dont get more ammo.- atx

Works fine here.
Does it also happen when playing online? Try the server 141.2.16.7, that is, on the console, type "connect 141.2.16.7". Does the problem occur there?
(In the server browser, this server is "[RBI]2.2.2 Dom")1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.-

Perhaps you are confusing mg and sg ammo. I did for a long time. The pile of brownish cylinders is mg ammo and the box of crayons is sg ammo
