unknown surfaceparm "weaponclip"

  • My Nexuiz server is running on Windows Server 2003 and this message appears while loading almost every map (I didn't test all maps from the list):

    scripts/chronic_sfx.shader parsing warning: unknown surfaceparm "weaponclip"

    It is not critical, I just cannot see if this somehow affects the game.
    So, I'm leaving it for your consideration :)

  • Odd, that's a working shader's name :)
    Shaders are special scripts that tell the engine of how to render some textures. Weaponclip should be an invisible texture, that block weapons and players.
    I dunno why it tells it's unkown, becouse it works. So I think you can ignore it.
