  • Ok, I have already postet this into the old forum, but did't look at the replies.

    So the problem again:
On each server I have lags about every 2 min, about 20 sec long.
The strange thing is, when I press esc, click on the findserverbutton and then return into the game (I do not reconnect to the server) the lag is gone every time!!

    Anyone any ideas?

  • Are you using a router?
It might be a problem with the way your router handles UDP connections, i'm not shure but i think i heard the same problem fro someone else some time ago. Iirc sending a chat message also ended the lag for that guy.

  • A mail checking program can't be the problem,
but I use a router - the next days I get a new connection then I try it out without router.

  • omg!

You really don't have to kick out the router, just try to change UDP configuration (maybe it's gettin'better to reset it to factory settings)! :o

Well, that the ultimate test to see, whether it's the router or not :D
And it cost nothing, so why not try it?
