Ok, I have already postet this into the old forum, but did't look at the replies.

So the problem again:
On each server I have lags about every 2 min, about 20 sec long.
The strange thing is, when I press esc, click on the findserverbutton and then return into the game (I do not reconnect to the server) the lag is gone every time!!

Anyone any ideas?

Are you using a router?
It might be a problem with the way your router handles UDP connections, i'm not shure but i think i heard the same problem fro someone else some time ago. Iirc sending a chat message also ended the lag for that guy.

A mail checking program can't be the problem,
but I use a router - the next days I get a new connection then I try it out without router.

You really don't have to kick out the router, just try to change UDP configuration (maybe it's gettin'better to reset it to factory settings)!

Well, that the ultimate test to see, whether it's the router or not
And it cost nothing, so why not try it?
