I have really serious performance issues with the Geforce 8800 GTS.

I have:
OS: Vista Ultimate 32-bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400
Memory: 2 GB
Gfx: Geforce 8800 GTS
Driver: 101.41
Nexuiz: 2.2.3

When i run demo1 with all effects turned off no anisotropic filtering at 640x480x16 i get around 25 fps.

When i run it with everything turned on and 16 times anisotropic filtering at 1280x1024x32 i get around 11 fps.

If i start with everything turned off and enables it all without restarting i get around 45 fps.

What is wrong?

We got a few reports that it helps to set 'antialiasing' and 'anisotrophic fiiltering´ to 'applicaiton controlled in the driver options.
On CoreDua machines it might also help to start Nexuiz in window mode and then use the taskmanager to set affinity to only one core. There is also a driver option 'thread optimization' it might help if you DISABLE it..that option seems to cause problems with lots of games.

"thread optimization" off helped now i get a solid 40 fps with everything on. Thx
