this is my first time attempting to play nexuiz. im using windows xp with sp2. i downloaded and extracted the file and made sure i kept the same file names. i tried to start the game and i heard music but it stayed as a black screen. i had to alt tab and end the task in tsk manager to get rid of it. i got the same problem when i ran the sdl version of it. and when i ran the dedicated one i got this:

Probably you just have to install graphic drivers for you graphic card. Take them from your grahpic cards manufacturers homepage.. problaby ati.com, nvidia.com or intel.com
