Hi, I've just installed Nexiuz and everything went fine but when it comes to the time to quit the game the whole screen hangs right after i click the confirmation button.

Any idea what went wrong, I'm using Nexiuz 2.2.3 and installed according to a guide for my distro

Suggestion 1: use the deb package in the ubuntu repos. 10x easier.
Suggestion 2: that guide says to use the SDL version first. Have you tried using the GLX version?
Suggestion 3: does hitting F10 produce the same behavior?

Hitting F10 will give me the same outcome and where can i get the deb package in the ubuntu repos u mentioned?

sudo apt-get install nexuiz

and if you want the music the package is nexuiz-music

so sudo apt-get install nexuiz nexuiz-music.

or you can just search for 'nexuiz' in synaptic...

You could change to a console, then run

DISPLAY=:0.0 gdb nexuiz
run

then switch to the X server again, quit the game, switch to the console, and see if there's any useful error message...
