Recently I tried to delete nex and re install it. I deleted all associated files and I thought I got them all. But when I downloaded nex again and opened it up, my character and my name and all my settings were the same. I guess there's a file somewhere that I'm missing when I delete it, I don't know. I'm using a Mac. What am I missing?

You forget ~/.nexuiz . On all unix like operating systems that dir is used (and mac osx is one) But its at most 7kb for a config file

Could you give me an idea of where it might be. I know you're not that familiar with mac, but I could use any help you might have

I searched for .nexuiz, .cfg i cant find anything that has to do with nex anywhere.Does it really matter if it uses my old settings, or is it better to have a fresh install

Ha amazing! All along I wasn't putting the ~/, in front of .nexuiz. I should probably keep the dlcache so it doesn't have to download all the maps again right? Thank you so much. How do you remember where to find all those old posts?

That was just an month ago.. and a few days ago someone was asking for similar info, were KadaverJack posted that link

Anyway, thanks a lot for your help. I know it must get annoying dealing with these type of questions. Soon maybe I'll be able to answer some of these questions instead of asking them.
