  • perhaps some developer can use this informations to get rid of this bug (happens at the exit of the game)

  • Which nvidia driver are you using? As I understand it (from others experience) this is actually nVidia's driver causing the panic, not the darkplaces (Nexuiz's) engine itself.

    The only value that changed is the page address.

    And yes, this is a bug in nvidia's driver - but I have not found a way to reproduce it yet, it happened exactly once until now. If you can reproduce it, feel free to submit the bug report to nvidia or tell us how to reproduce.
    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

  • i've tried to debug that thing ... but ddd says ->

  • That's no surprise, the crash happens in the kernel, not in DarkPlaces. You would need to debug the kernel to find out more... that is, you would need to debug the kernel without having the source code of what most likely causes it.

    Report to nvidia please, you seem to be able to reproduce the bug.
