When playing minstagib in 2.3 (I never play any other modes), my gun still sometimes disappears and sometimes my view changes in such a way that it seems that i am constantly crouching. It happens less often than in previous nexuiz versions,, but is still there. If any other data is needed tell me.

It probably is caused by packet loss - not much we can do about that... try running "ping -t yourserverip" and running that for some minutes, then cancel it by ^C - it should show at most one lost packet. If it shows more, try another server.

Ok, but I read in the change notes that this was a bug that had been solved (guns not being displayed) , or was this something different?

It is caused by packetloss (I have this issue as well), however, in my case, I get back my normal view and weapon after some time (in 1on1s I just try to hide for these 10 seconds that it takes to restore the normal view again)

Two things...

there was an "actual" bug with that when switching weapons fast... this one should be fixed.

secondly, when caused by packet loss, there is no way of preventing this... but it usually restores itself when the lost packet gets resent, which can take some time.

However... sure the server is a 2.3 one?

I've experienced this many times. I don't know why, but it seems to happen when I hit the spacebar a bunch of times immediately after dying. It gives me the impression that it respawns me too early and the game isn't "ready" for the spawn yet. if, after dying, I wait a second or two before hitting the space bar, I will respawn properly everytime.

Usually, after about 5-7 seconds, the screen corrects itself and I am no longer crouching and my weapon appears.
