The brightnes that i adjust in the options menu of Nexuiz stays only for about 10 minutes, than my screen is getting darker. Has somebody the same problem or is this a known problem?

I m runnin Ububtu Linux (Feisty Fawn).
My Graphics card is a gforce 8800gts.

this used to be a roblem at some pont.. try disabling hw gamma.

As an alternative to HW gamma, you can use GLSL contrast boost.
