When I try and start up nexuiz it does nothing.. any suggestions?

PC specs:
Intel e6600
DDR2 5300 2x2(4GB)
Nvidia 650i LGA775
ATI 2900XT
- Windows XP 32 bit

My ideas:

1. Your parents installed a parental control software.

2. You installed a buggy personal firewawl.

3. You installed another buggy software.

Do you have already a config.cfg? If yes, add the line vid_fullscreen "0" and saveclose, then start again and look what happens.

If no, download this one http://urmel.planetnexuiz.de/Misc/config.cfg and copy it into the data directory. Then start again and look what happens.

1. Im a little old for parental controls LOL

2. FIrewalls are almost useless with a good anti-v and router.

3. I dont have buggy software.

ill try downloading again maybe I have corrupted files. The config.cfg does not work for me.

When I try and start it up it acts as if it loaded for about 1 second and then cancels.

I dont install much.. and there not running in the background when I play games.

Have you re-downloaded Nexuiz now? Did you try both nexuiz.exe and nexuiz-sdl.exe? Still absolutely nothing??

I just reformatted and am downloading now.

It works now. Im guessing it was a video driver. Thats about all that is different.
