Yeah Mhmm ... Just wandering why every time I join a game all i see is the mountains, sometimes space, and if I turn around, it goes pitch black.

Yeah I read the FAQ, so I decided to CREATE my OWN game, but even so, I see even more prettier mountains ... -.-"

basically the map lives in a box called the 'skybox'. This 'skybox' has a backdrop painted on it. So when you go out of the boundery of the skybox, the background disapears.

No i dont see the rest of the map. When I turn the map goes black.

must be some weird bug with your graphics drivers. What video card do you have, and have you updated the drivers recently?

Get libCURL, that should fix it
I'm sure it's because you don't HAVE the map, and can't download it because you don't have libcurl, it's what happens to me then

Another reason may be a buggy graphics driver. Disabling "OpenGL 2.0 Shaders" in the menu fill fix this then.

Hey thanks alot guys for helping. DivVerent was right. I disabled OpenGL shaders and it works =]

Actually, it's a bug in Nexuiz 2.3 that causes this problem to not be
autodetected. 2.4 will automatically disable GLSL shaders when this happens.
The autodetection for this was coded, but did not work.
