  • Hi. I'm running nexuiz-dedicated on Windows XP. My server.cfg says this:
    Code: Select all
    hostname "Clan TUI"
    g_maplist 'ctf_basementctf''ctf_dismal''ctf_runningmanctf'
    log_file server.log

When I run the server the hostname is

    "Clan TUI" ["Nexuiz Server"]

and the maplist has a bunch of DM maps in it. What am I doing wrong?

  • The stuff in angle brackets with the hostname is the default value. So it looks like setting the hostname has worked. It's probably the same with g_maplist. If g_maplist does not work you could try to put double quotes around the entries.

  • Are the dm-maps listed as default value in brackets? I tested the cfg you posted and it's working exactly as it's supposed to be...

  • Damn, I failed to check the server. It's okay. Sorry to have bothered you. :(
