ok i can't play nexuiz anymore. when i join a game, the entire map is dark. ok i know that this happens when you don't have the map file but i have them, i'm sure.

the only way i can see something is, when i use

Code: Select all

r_showcollisionbrushes 1

or

Code: Select all

r_showtris 1

but even then the players and the weapons are completely dark.

there is an error message displayed in my console:

permutation lightsource colormapping diffuse specular offsetmapping reliefmapping failed for shader glsl/default.glsl, some features may not work properly!


i've also tried to download nexuiz again and it still doesn't work.

can anybody help me?

It's a driver problem. You are probably using an ATI. Try on the console:

r_glsl_offsetmapping_reliefmapping 0
r_glsl_offsetmapping 0

Or open your config.cfg and remove the lines for offsetmapping.

That should fix it. If it doesn't, try the big master switch:

r_glsl 0

i'm using a nvidia geforce 7800 gt form asus... yeah and i figured out that it works when i turn off the openGL 2.0 shaders...
but i will try it...
