Just downloaded Nexiuz, extracted it, and am attempting to run it. I get the following error:

[pauly@zippy Nexuiz]$ ./nexuiz-linux-glx.sh
./nexuiz-linux-glx.sh: line 121: /usr/local/games/Nexuiz/nexuiz-linux-x86_64-glx: No such file or directory
./nexuiz-linux-glx.sh: line 121: /usr/local/games/Nexuiz/nexuiz-linux-x86_64-glx: Success

Problem is, the file is there, and readable:

[pauly@zippy Nexuiz]$ ll nexuiz-linux-x86_64-*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1632664 Feb 29 02:33 nexuiz-linux-x86_64-dedicated
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1954072 Feb 29 02:33 nexuiz-linux-x86_64-glx

Here's my machine info:

Does anybody have any idea why this might be happening?

Yes. Due to a hardware failure, we had to use another system to build the binaries - which ran a less outdated distro than Fedora Core 6 (well, really, Fedora 8 is out). Too bad its binaries then require libraries that don't exist on FC6.

As a workaround, follow the instructions to compile it on your own, it really is easy.

cd Nexuiz
cd sources
unzip engine*
cd darkplaces
make nexuiz
mv nexuiz-glx nexuiz-dedicated nexuiz-sdl ../..

Others affected by this could also try the binaries from http://emptyset.endoftheinternet.org/~p ... hotfix.zip - they were built on an older system.
