Desktop corruption

  • After exiting my desktop looks like this:

  • looks to me like a problem with eye-candy, composititng-wm-stuff. it might help turning that off before running 3d-games.
    in my experience they just don't get along.

  • I get the same corruption without compiz. That was the first thing I tried.

  • Just to inform others.. LameBMX's problem has gone away after using texture compression.
    The r300 driver he uses seems to have problems with protecting textures from different applications (like the desktop and nexuiz) so lowering the graphic memory usage helped to stop those problems.

  • yea setting texture compression to fast fixed it!!!!!!
