I get this when I try to run Nexuiz 2.4 (GLX or SDL)

    This is what I did:

Downloaded Nexuiz from Sourceforge (the default link) unzippedi it and tried running the .exe file.

Then I received the error above (the screen flickered for a second, but nothing happened. I closed all other applications, then tried again. The start screen showed up, but when I selected a map to play on, I received the same error.

I didn't have this issue with 2.3, however it ran very sluggishly. The average FPS rate (approximately 10) was worse than Crysis's average (30-45 FPS on the highest setting)

Oh, and hi, I'm new here.

  • you need more ram. You can also try increasing your paging file. Also, you can close any programs that may be running in the background.

That part of the source actually is allocating memory for bumpmap rendering, you may want to try turning that off for now.

  • Hmm... I restarted my computer and that seems to do the trick.... I'm feeling pretty stupid right now. :P

    Thanks for the help.
