  • I have broadband internet, and Nexuiz is not being blocked by my firewall, but for some reason, when I go to join, no servers come up. Am I doing something wrong?

  • The master server querying is not done on the same port as the game is played, so if the master query server port is blocked you will have probels getting lists up. I cannot rememeber the port right now.. UDP 27500 maybe.. someone correct me.

  • Other people reported the Nexuiz WAS blocked by their firewall though it should not have been blocked.. best thing to try is to switch to windowed mode (somewhere in the options, or via the command line option -window when starting nexuiz. Those people told that then they have been able to see a confirmation dialog from their firewall to grant nexuiz access to the internet..
The master server is running on port 27950 if that helps..

  • Ye, for example me :?. Recently, I changed my ISP - and now I have the same problem: "Multiplayer -> Servers" shows nothing... and, is there a way to change the way I get the servers list (e.g. port #)?

PS. Why wasn't there any activity on this topic so long... I mean noone had anything like this?

Edit: Tried to connect manually - e.g. "connect 75.126.234.42:26000" - it replies "Connect: Waiting 10 seconds for reply" and then "Connect: Failed".
