  • I just downloaded and installed kradiant 1.5.0 to try and make a Nexuiz map. At startup I selected Nexuiz as the game and the correct path to its installation (D:/Nexuiz). Then I opened radiant and made a small basic map, added a player start, then compiled it and left kradiant to launch the game in my map with the "Run Engine After Compile" setting turned on from Preferneces. When the game starts however, I get a black screen with this message:

You have reached this menu due to missing or unlocatable content/data

    you may consider adding
    -basedir/path/to/game
    to your launch commandline

Then I can either open the console or exit. As I said I set the correct path to Nexuiz (I got the game textures in the texture browser displaying so yeah) and I had no other problems with Nexuiz meaning it can't be a corrupt installation or anything of that sort (downloaded and installed the official installer without any issues just a few days ago).

Why is this happening and not launching my map then? Is the latest version of Nexuiz incompatible with the latest version of kradiant? Also this is the first time I use radiant so I am a newb here, sorry if there's something I missed or doing this wrong.

[EDIT] I'm using Windows XP sp2. Also, the final output of the map which kradiant chooses by itsself is D:\Nexuiz\data\maps but there are no other maps there.
