i'm from france and playing nexuiz for a while
I'm asking myself if there is anyway to use a game pad with nexuiz?
coulld anybody help?

well, very exotic... I know nobody who does.

You should try this: open the autoexec.cfg in the data folder. Theres a parameter for Joystick, and if You set it to 1, maybe it works then?

Dunno, correct me if I'm wrong....

I have never tried but i think its no longer possible to use a joystick.. all the joystick releated variables have been removed from the engine some time ago.
But using mouse and keyboard is much better if thats an option for you.

@Urmel: autoexec.cfg does not exist by default.. it can be created by the user. But i think you mean default.cfg or config.cfg. The first one holds the default settings and is keept inside the big data*.pk3 file and the other one holds the saved settings. (I can't find any joystick settings in mine..)

now I know why nithing of the content works on my company PC - it's still there

Back to topic, I could imagine it's running with a gamepad, depending on the model and the manufacturer. My logitech mouse driver ie recognizes Nexuiz.exe and I could add binds on the buttons. Possibly there are some gamepads with drivers that provide tis as well or ave a mouse emulator, whatever....
