Prepare for a newb installer!.
Ok i just dled this game. But i never installed this type of game. So i have extracted all of the files now i need to know how to open the game up. Thanks ahead of time. Please let me know if im in wrong forum.

Windows, just throw the directory anywhere, and double-click on the .exe file.

Mac, same, but double-click on Nexuiz.app

Once i do that i get this message on big black screen.
you have reached this menue due to missing or unlocatable content/data
you may consider adding
-basedir /path/ to/game
to your launch commandline

open counsle
quit

You extracted the dataxxxxx.pk3, probably. ALL you need to do is to unzip the MAIN directory. Then place that dir, Nexuiz, anywhere.

Step 1) Download Nexuiz

Step 2) Extract nexuiz-242.zip. You can extract it ANYWHERE.

Step 3) Double-click on nexuiz.app or nexuiz.exe, which are located in the extracted folder.

This isn't rocket science.
