Okay so right now im using the 8.10 Ubuntu(newest one) and I installed nexuiz and it works fine. No lag, no bugs, no crashes, except for one. I play full screen and it plays fine. However, while I play the game it randomly "crashes" and takes me to my desktop screen. (if you dont know what i mean, if you ever play a game and somebody IMs you via Pidgin or AIM or MSN, it may take you to your desktop.)
When it takes me to my desktop I can see a window with the game, still playing. I have no Chat programs on, no internet applications, nothing but the game. I can easily click the Nexiuz Window to continue playing, but it gets really annoying because it happens every 15mins.
Anyone know how to fix this problem?
Sorry if there is already a post about this, I am in school and only have 5mins left to I gotta go to my other class.
EDIT:: browsed at the Attention 8.10 Users.
I did not activate or add any Desktop effects, but when I get home I'll double check to see if there are any defaulted ones that come with 8.10.
