Hi there,

since I install the version 2.0, I can't change my Resolution and Bits per Pixel!
I tried to change in the config.cfg and protect the file for changes!

But the problem still there. Nexuiz starts always in 640x480x16!!

PC Configuration:
Win XP SP2 / Nvidia 84.21
Athlon 3000+ / 1GB Ram / Nvidia 6600 GT

Try it from the console. Eg:

vid_width 1600
vid_height 1200
vid_bpp 32
vid_restart

I try it but got this massage from console:

That would of course have required your machine to support 1600x1200. Try it with other resolutions that your machine suports.

If you start Nexuiz with nexuiz.exe, try to start it with nexuiz-sdl.exe instead.

I currently do not have an idea what might be wrong here. I have the same card and it worked quite fine. Can you take a look at your systems display-settings and see what resolutions are available for you? Windows is very picky about those at times.. or maybe something went wrong when installing your drivers? I think there is pretty much nothing that Nexuiz could do wrong about changing the resolution

MySandmann: make shure your windows desktop color depth is set to 32 bpp. For some reason windows won't let Nexuiz switch to 32 bpp if the desktop is set to 16 bpp or lower.

Woah i did not even know this.. Thank god i now use linux.
I think things like this should be added to the FAQ, just in case people read it Would you do this? I will not be able to till later this evening.
