  • Help! I have been a nexuiz player for a couple years now and I just switched to ubuntu from Windows. I run Nexuiz from the glx, not sdl (since the mouse doesnt move anymore on that one). So. Usually I get into about 2-5 minute sin the game and the sound just crashes. Is there a fix?

  • In terminal type:

    pkill pulseaudio

ALSA will take over, so you won't lose sound.

Optionality (this is what I do), set it in your startup programs to run this command.
