I've seen the video on the home page of Nexuiz and there's clearly some nice weapon models on display, but once I installed the game, weapons aren't shown in the first person. I can see them within the map, but not on my screen. I hope that makes sense. I asked about it in game, and someone mentioned a setting I had to turn on, but I haven't been able to track it down. the first person weapon models dont show up? try going through settings and looking for one called "Draw first-person weapon models" or something like that. I think it's under the Video pane..

The command for the console is: r_drawviewmodel 1
1 is turned on and 0 turned off.

I don't have that video option, or an option like it in the settings pane. And typing in r_drawviewmodel 1 didn't work either. Could it be my video drivers? I have the 1.77 nvidia drivers installed.

We'd need more info in order to help more then. What OS, graphic card and if there are any other problems in the game or just the invisible weapon. Like, are the player models looking ok and the rest of the game?

PS. I'll move this thread over to Bugs/Support forum for hopefully more responses.
