The clocks on the server and client must have at most 15 seconds of difference (in UTC time)
The time is hashed into the rcon command to add more security... You may want to synchronize the two machines to a NTP server!
Or if you're lazy, rcon_secure 0 on the server (if you own it and don't care about packet sniffing)Meh.-

Also, 2.5.1 clients can't rcon to 2.5 servers, unless the client sets rcon_secure to 0.1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.-

NTP is really easy to setup anyway. Just google for it.Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.
