can't figure out how to connect to online server

When I click multiplayer the dashboard comes up and there is nothing else, I can enter in an address and click join but nothing is listed... Help? I have a mac if that matters- >beargrillz<

i'm not sure how it works on mac, but maybe try bootcamp and run the win32 executables.+The Dude+
