This is the weirdest thing I've ever encountered in any progam... and I'm a programming student, I've seen some crazy stuff(though perhaps not as much as the veterans that make Nexuiz)


The scenario is very simple: I'm playing Nexuiz and all of the sudden, everything freezes except my ability to look around, plus this clock figure appears in the upper left corner of the screen.

What even more interesting is that when I look at my router, the wireless has shut itself off and then restarts...

No other program has ever done this. The router has been the same one for 2 years(a Philips router) and I've had this laptop for over a year.

It just happens at random... no prior warning, no idea what triggers it, but it just happens, and the router resetting the wireless connection is pretty weird...

No matter the server, no matter the game type, it'll just randomly happen...

If you have a wireless rooter then you have the same problem as I have and I still don't have any solution for it help us xD

Do you play any other online games? Maybe your router can't take all the traffic...?


And ozo, you're not sure the problems are related eh... Does your wireless also shut down at random?

No, Nexuiz is the only thing I play online, plus I don't download and I'm the only person using the router, it's set to invisible and is password protected.

It doesn't really shuts down but I also get the clock and I can't do anything for like 10 seconds and thats annoying in 1v1's or ctf or CTS or race etc.

you only lose your connection for some secs. router does not restart
