  • Hey I have a problem with one of my computers playing Nexuiz.
I don't see any models in game play. The map/level looks great but there are no weapons or other player models showing up. I know they are there cuz some ghost computer player keeps shooting me that I can't see and I can pick up the invisible weapons and armer and health packs when playing the first single player map.
I can see the gun cases on the ground and effects when I shoot but I don't see any weapon or other players.

It's kida hard to kill something you can see. So does anyone know how to fix this?

    My computers info is.

    Windows XP Home SP3
Dimension 2400 (2.7-3.0Ghz Varies on CPU temp) X86-based PC
    Ram: 768MB
Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 6200 | Driver Version: 6.14.11.7516
    Latest DirectX 9

As for Open GL, I know nothing about it other then it's a Graphics Library.
Nexuiz is the only game I have that uses it.
Were do you check what OpenGL vr you have?

  • OpenGL version info will be printed in the console when you start Nexuiz. You can use 'condump' from the console to write it to file. Then hunt for that file and have a look through it.

I would suggest downloading the latest drivers from NVIDIA and installing them, just in case it's a broken driver.

  • This is a fairly common problem, usually needs a driver update. One time I fixed it by redownloading Nexuiz o.O.

  • Doku, see it from his point of view, it's not necessarily a funny joke at all. It would sound like "HAH, you're out of luck! Have fun!" to me, if I didn't know you :p
    Meh.
