  • Nothing like seeing a fireball bounce up and down on a jumppad.

In 2.5.1 the rockets would bounce off the JP and then keep going
In 2.5.2 the rockets bonce off the JP and then come back down and bounce again.

Also I don't ever remember being able to bounce lasers or HLAC off a JP.

    I could be wrong

I doubt you've even seen this before!!!

  • Daaaamn your only getting 10fps on like the lowest settings. If that was my rig I'd take a sledge hammer to it. lol j/k Gotta love the demo recorder

That jump platform thing has been there for at least as long as I've been playing. I find it useful on Soylent whenever somebody goes for the fan I would just lob some grenades on it.

  • Yes, we made projectiles follow the path of the player (Stolen from spidflisk).. However, that HLAC projectile should not follow it.. Nor should the laser. (Well, should it?.. I mean, I don't know why they "slip through" some times, that is a bug. But if we simply allow all of them, it would be fine and fix that bug.)

No, However they do cause damage after they self detonate.

It is not a bug, it's a feature. I told you, they follow the same path as a person would. Basically, that means the WHOLE path, they lose all of their normal velocity. The only reason it comes back on that map is because of gravity (Yes, rockets obey gravity after passing through a jumppad)

I think that it's a feature for some projectiles. But was it intended for the HLAC, Laser, or Electro( Primary) to behave that way? With these guns you have to get the correct angle and distance to get them to jump.

Heck I think i saw a Nex bolt jump once.
