  • I just downloaded Nexiuz on my Vista and I've encountered many problems, each one making it impossible to play!
I enjoy multiplayer games so I tried multiplayer first, i put my name, chose to play as a marine and tried to connect to a server. I got to a screen that showed a loading symbol, a loading percentage thing and i saw what others were saying that were already playing. When it finished loading, an error message popped up saying an error had occured and i was automatically X-ed out of the game. This happens every time! For simgleplayer the half of the enviornments are missing. tHe floor and doors appear and dissapear and some objects dont appear at all! I need help plz!!

  • Your nexuiz installation might be broken. Multiplayer might have some issues, when map download process is interrupted, but single player should work without any issues. Check that your zip file was not corrupted.

  • Could we get some more informations than 'on my Vista' about your hardware? especially about your video card and its driver version.

Probably the source of the problem. Load the game and in the options menu choose the 'low' video setting and hit apply. This will give you lower settings to troubleshoot the problem. It is quite likely that something like GLSL doesn't work with your driver or chipset.

I would also suggest not to go straight in to online play. Play through the single player and learn the movement and shooting in the game. This is the same for any game.

  • Wanna play PC games? Go and get a video card. Onboard video controllers are not capable of rendering at a reasonable speed. Basic knowledge.

    Sorry for you :(

I know, i'm going to do single player when i get it to work, that's what I'm mostly trying to do right now, yeah when i saw Express Chipset myself i knew it must suck...but its weird cuz other high performance games work like The Sims series and the newer Simcities

    <_> well you seem nice...
:O No, I just can't get a video card at the moment so I'll just try the low setting for now

I wouldn't class those as being graphics intensive.

Are you running the latest drivers from Intel? Don't use the standard Windows ones.

  • Someone might have suggested this earlier, but try using Damn Small Nexuiz. It should have very low requirements.

Sadly, I can't get new drivers and stuff right now so I need a way that doesnt involve getting new stuff
