The Nex version on the server is the "nexuizpatch20060813_forumonly" Version.
Hope hat info is enough to help you track down that error

Looks good - this is the already fixed bug:
- Code: Select all
^7Host_Error: runaway loop counter hit limit of 10000000 jumps
^7tip: read above for list of most-executed functions
^7QuakeC crash report for server:
^7s1: STORE_F (=n\oo\o\), GLOBAL4
^7s2: ^3CALL1 strzone (=())
^7s3: STORE_S GLOBAL1,
^7s4: STORE_S (=),
^7s5: STORE_F GLOBAL703, GLOBAL706
^7s6: STORE_F GLOBAL252, GLOBAL707
^7 : wordwrap : statement 5
^7 : Say : statement 57
^7 : SV_ParseClientCommand : statement 743
The wordwrap routine crashed when a line was ending with a backslash (in this case, "n\oo\o"). Has been fixed... if you just want to take over that change, apply this patch to your gamesource:
http://svn.icculus.org/nexuiz/branches/ ... f_format=u
and run fteqcc to get a new progs.dat.
If you find another bug - the part of the log I quoted here is the generally useful part of a crash message. Watch out for messages like this one and quote them if you get another bug - that would be most helpful.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.
