I tried changing the map with "nextmap" but it said the nextmap was [""]. So I tried "chmap ctf_basement", which should have been "ctf_basementctf". Then div0 kept asking me How it happened, and I had to kill the server.

Interesting.. this message is printed in the code that checks the fraglimit and other stuff. But only when some kind of team mode is detected but non of ctf, tdm, runematch or domination is found to be active. That should be a kind of impossible thing..
Well i guess you were running ctf before that wrong chmap command which does reset all the gamemode QC variables but as it could not load the map afterwards the internal variable still indicated teamplay.. I'll think about a solution tomorrow.. its too late now to think hard

nextmap is not a command.. its a variable IIRC and when set it will switch to that map AFTER the map is finished. So you can override the maplist thing..

Thanks for that info. Looking at the server log, I think the order of the commands I typed was:

However I can't reproduce what happened.

by the way, I typed nextmap because it's fun to guess commands. for example, go to ali.com, and it's muhammed ali's homepage. how awesome
