hi everybody,

i'm playing nexuiz now for quite a while and must say: great game!
but i have a little problem. sometimes when i quit nexuiz my computer freezes and i cant do anything. the mouse still can be moved, but i cant open the task manager or anything else. restart is the only way to handle it
my system:

WinXP
Athlon 2400+ (2GHz)
1 GB RAM
GeForce 5600 Fx ultra

any solution to this?

Hi BlueberryYumyum! Glad you found your way here! I remember having a similar problem waaay back with an older version, dunno what caused or solved it. What other programs are you running? What antivirus / firewall? I think i was using ZoneAlarm and AntiVir and changed to Jetico Personal Firewall and Avast.

im using the xp firewall (shame on me ) and anti vir....
just noticed that 2.1 is out and updated. hope it will help, but if not... well i'm just gonna have to continue playing all day long

XD Loil. The version update should fix it. And serious, just running the XP firewall without any system adjustments is a security risk. Either you know what youre doing or get a good firewall. Jetico PF is an itch in the crotch because its as suspicious as a KGB agent and asks ALOT. Sygate PF was awesome but its not supported anymore.

Well one of the first things to try is always to see if the nexuiz.exe or maybe the nexuiz-sdl.exe do run better or cause less trouble..

had zone alarm and kerio, but allways had trouble with games.... and had viruses too, so i refused getting a firewall after reinstalling windows, and had no problems since then. all i want my firewall to do is to warn me when any programm wants to access the internet. and thats what the integrated one does as well.
