    Owns the screens.
    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

    Do I see 15fps there in the upper right side? The owner ran outa money and runs the displz at a Sempron with an on-board VGA :mrgreen:

    From what i read the resolution used was 10240x3072 so this is pretty good ;)

  • You would have to set fov to ~180 on that to maaake it look correct too just because of the angle it makes about you!

  • You can't realy have a 180 fov, AFAIK, in q2 from fov 150 it was the same in q2.

    I guess they have hacked the q3 engine anyway, so why not support fov 180 while you're at it? At least i don't think that q3 support a resolution of 10240x3072 and parallel rendering on 12 PCs out of the box :P

    Acctualy its not originaly a book, it was created as a radioshow first. The book came later becaouse of popular demand.

    Its slightly offtopic but it seems they only changed the config.. and well used some software and several linux node for the display, but the rendering was not changed.. http://www.plastk.net/

    Maybe I should ask them to try Nexuiz :)

    Very true. hardly anyone remembers this. Douglas Adams absolutely hated writing and the book wasn't as good as the radio show. He also changed a number of things along the way. The radio show is the true hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.
