3. - 18. of February 2007 the alpine wold ski championships is held in Åre, Sweden. Now as the very nice guy I am, and also probably the one closest to Åre, i'll let people from the community that wants to go there stay at my place for freee during the stay, you bring your own food and stuff ofcoz . Let me know if you are interested.

From here to åre it is around 1 1/2 to 2 hours by car. There will be buses going steadily. Trondheim (Norway) (where i live) is the closest large city to Åre

Getting over to Trondheim might be a bit pricey for me though. 186 quid!

I have zero interest in this ski nonsense, but i maybe i should pretend to have just to get a chance to enoy tChr in person

I'd be interested in going just to meet tChr but I think watching people fall over and hurt themselves in the snow would be quite fun too. Not having sensible amounts of snow here we don't have skiing in any real way.

Despite not speaking Norwegian, not having any way of getting from Trondheim airport to tChr's house and not knowing a thing about skiing it sounds like fun.

I can return the favour in 2012 when we have the Olympics.
