I think its a fairly decent name.. After all.. My old-time demo-scne-group in Norways was called "The Electrocution".. That abny better? We always used he short version though.. "ELQ", at least we started doing that after we turned 15

me and a guy named MadAlien made up the name around 5 years or so ago, we were working on a quake1 mod and thought we needed a name for the group.
If i remember right, i had a MindTrap box right beside my computer, so i just suggested Mindtrap, and he suggest alientrap since he was obsessed with aliens, and he did the logo for it, so we used it. Strangely soon after this he just never came online again and i never heard from him

So i vectorised and symetrised (if the word exists ) the logo, to get a vector shape. Then i tried to make it a bit 'younger'...

A svg (scaleable vector graphics) version of the head and the desktop thing would be nice. As the head is already vectorized it should be easy and would be very handy. That way you can make desktop backgrounds of all sizes. 1600x1200 should be almost standart nowadays. But i use 1280x1024 because my tft can't do more

the desktop has been made with photoshop, i'll try to make it full-vector, but i'm not sure that i can reproduce every effects that are in the pixel image with vector tools. But i'll try

i made a full-vector version.
it is a bit different, i can't exactly reproduce with vectors what i've done with photoshop before.
it is a 1600x1200 svg file (44ko) :

This version is very nice.. And 44kb is not very big and as its easily scalable you can adjust it to every resolution one would need.
Hmm can't some of the linux desktop even use svg directly?
