Could be on purpose... I mean the voice you hear when you start the game also says 'Nexiuz' and there also was a topic related to that, though I'm not 100% sure it correctly explains it .

Hmm just click on the 'join' in the topleft of the map, click on 'move this pin' to enter your location, click on 'please add yourself', click on people and continue. There enter name and that other stuff and click on 'add me'..
