I have to say, that while playing nexuiz, browsing forum, or looking at that map, i noticed that I havent seen any hint that asian people are even aware of this game (sorry to use that umbrella term, I know each asian culture is both unique and better than all the other ones). It cant be the whole english thing, because most asians, like europeans, know some degree of english, and the language barrier hasnt stopped them asians from playing Starcraft.....
Do asian people just not enjoy fps? Whats up?

You are very wroing methinks.. iirc there even was tounraments with nexuiz in japaneze computer parties, and there has benen asians in the ladder. However they dont seem to active in the community.

But i can only find 2 Japanese Nexuiz servers online right now. Well most servers are put up by people that just happen to like nexuiz. So i guess 2 servers is not that much for that region.

The nearest server to me is Australian, which never has any players on it (in fact, it's weird that it exists, since you'd think anyone setting up a server would know people who wanted to play on it). There are no New Zealand servers, so I generally play on US ones (there's one in NY I play on a lot). My ping ranges from 220-250, but I do all right. I won an instagib map last night, and found the only real problem doing so was when it came to "around the corner encounters" when you meet someone at a corner and you both fire simultaneously. Obviously, a fifth of a second is quite an advantage in such situations so I just have to be cunning like a fox (;
