Today, construction finished on a new parking deck in my town. And this thing is one of the largest, ugliest, and most abnoxious peices of architecture in the history of, well, history. Essentially, it is directly across from my house, and what used to be a wonderful view of manhattan island from my house is now obscured by a large concrete and steel rectangle. Not to mention it also ruins my view of the sunrise in the morning, which is the only thing that wakes me up for Greek at 6:00 AM.
