  • Connect to server closer to you

Make sure there is nothing else using your internet connection at the same time

.. and if that donr help ..

    Get a better connection.

Ping is tikme time it takes for singlas to travel from your computer to the server and back. there is nothing you can tune or change ingame to make tat better. if you rely think its a software problem, check you os's settings and drivers.
    HOF:
<Diablo> the nex is a "game modification"
<Diablo> quake1 never had a weapon like that.
<Vordreller> there was no need for anything over 4GB untill Vista came along
    <Samua>]Idea: Fix it? :D
<Samua>Lies, that only applies to other people.

  • When you click on the 'join game' button all the servers should be sorted for ping.. the ones with the lowest ping are at the top. If there is none with a better ping you might want to do what tZork said. Also if you have found a server you should take a look at the number below NP ('now playing' or 'number of players' what ever you like better :)). You might want to use a server with good ping AND players.. or get on a server with good ping and wait a few minutes for others to join..

  • First off , make sure youre connection doesnt have anyone uploading/downloading or using p2p on it at the same time .

Join a server with 0 to 150 ping

Sort the server list by ping

If their is no local 0 to 100 ping server, might be an idea to request youre ISP to host a nexuiz server
