  • Since we're talking about movies already i thought a thread about the 5 worst movies you ever saw shouldn't be missing.
And i mean movies which are not bad in quality (sure they can be too) but movies that really give you a headache because of their stupidness (stupid twists, stupid dialogues etc. ;) ) .Short: Movies you can't forget about but you really would like to....

    1. Daniel der Zauberer

Believe me.... this is the movie that taught me why there's a 1 out of 10 on imdb. And it deserves 1. Definitely. Period.... whatever anyone tells you..... don't, just don't watch that piece of ultimate crap. It's bad. By far the worst sum of images i've ever seen. My mobilephone-camera has a better white-fader...

    2. Signs

Okay, well there's this alien race that can travel a thousand of miles through the universe... and this alien race chooses a planet where 80% of the surface is water.
ok, water: the root of life. But unfortunately water is the one substance that is very very deadly for our space-travelling aliens. I really wonder what they'll do if it rains.... screw this twist mr. shyamalan !

    3. Sharkman

I borrowed this one because of the cool cover and because of the funny title. All i wanted to see were some funny scenes with that sharkman thing. but all i got was one scene where you see a poorly animated sharkman-eye. Just the eye....this one didn't pay off. ah and btw. the plot and acting totally sucked (remember the titel: "Sharkman". I mean what kind of plot do you think can make a film good that is entitled "Sharkman" ?). Anyways: still good for trash-film-night

    4. House of the Dead

Please, please, please dear Uwe Boll: Stop making films.

    5. The Back Lot Murders

Haha.... sometimes i really had to laugh out loud while watching this one. Maybe it was the crappy german translation like: "Arsch, Barsch, Marsch. Nichts in der Welt ist umsonst" (if anyone can tell me what they said in english i would be very thankful, cause i just don't get it) but i guess this film just was bad. not scary at all (i believe it wanted to be scary) and not exciting. Only funny in these unintentional funny moments. Boring. Really a film i'd like to forget about, but i just can't.... poor me 8)

  • Sorry- I just cant do this one. I could throw out names, but they would all be around the same level of bad. :)

    Maybe-
    Meet the Fockers
    Bad Santa
Pretty much every "christmas movie" ever made
    The Bad Lieutenant
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
    Batman & Robin
    District B13
    Every Will Ferrell move :(
    Dungeons & Dragons
    Elf
    Fantastic Four
    Hulk
    Matrix 2/3
    Mr. and Mrs. Smith
    Plan 9 from Outer Space
    Spy Kids

Sorry im so uncooperative about # of choices
Unfortunatly, I think the number of bad/terrible American movies to good/decentones to is 5:1

  • Aquamarine - #1 worst movie I've seen
    Boogeyman - weak plot
40 Year Old Virgin - lamest jokes ever
The Benchwarmers - Jon Heder should have stopped after Napoleon Dynamite
    Ultraviolet - repetitive and predictable

I have seen all of these, except I left during The Benchwarmers it was so bad. Don't list movies you haven't seen, we need qualified opinions.

  • CHILDREN OF THE CORN. That was the WORST horror movie EVER!
Soylent Green. Don't get how people like that movie, it put me to sleep.
Doom. The game was much better.
Blair Witch Project. That was boring, when it was supposed to be scary.
The Super Mario Brothers Movie. I find the game old and boring, but a movie?

I disagree about Matt Damon - the Bourne movies were pretty good, you might just not like the genre.

Apparently Adam Sandler is starting to try to actually act lately, scary thought, will have to see the results.

They were enjoyable, although they had a bit too much product placement for my taste (like when the camera zooms into the Mini logo in the first film).

  • ok 5 bad movies.. not sure what the worst are but these are bad. I only pick from those i j have myself, cause I have seen far too many films that are crap to remember them all :) I dont consern about movies made for television either, cause those are too many, so these are theatre features. In short. these are movies that disappointed in that they were much worse than expected.

The Texas Chaisaw Massacre (the original)
Insanely boring. One of the very few films that was so boring i didnt watch it though in one sitting, but needed a break doing something else half way.

    Alligator
oh.. my.. ghod.. Thats real crap.. seriously.. Its so bad that its fun to watch for just the sheer amusement value of how bad a movie its possible to make. Same goes for Hercules in New York.

    Beverly Hills Cop III
The first was cool and fun, the second was so bad you expected the 3rd to be good (like most 3s, but no.. its bad bad bad

    Catwoman
Decent comic.. extremely hot woman, very crappy movie. (goes for electra, too btw)

    Taxi (american version)
The french movie is hilarious.. its a real funny picture with charm.. the Hollywoodization of it is just barely saved by Gisele Bumdchen, and she is the only reason for sitting through this film (and her companions). Talk about destroying a good story. Even the french "Taxi 3" (wich sucks) is btter than the hollywoodized "Taxi"
    the spice extend life!
    the spice expand conciousness!
the spice is vital to space travel!
sooooo.. tell me what you want, waht you really-really want
I will proceed directly to the intravenous injection of hard drugs, please.

  • 1. Lady in the Water - wanted to claw my face off after that.

    2. Terror Tunes - so bad...so bad...

    3. Rocky V - Makes the latest Rocky look like pure genious, it's that bad.

    4. Hellraiser III - An amazingly bad followup to one of the great horror stories of all time( I and II)

    5. Nightmare on Elmstreet III( i think it was this one, the Dreamwarriors crapola)

  • How could you forget THE SUPER INFRAMAN???!!11?
And I'm looking for Super Mario Bros. Seems, there is no english Code2-DVD of this one. I got it on VHS back in 1999 (it actually was cheaper then an empty cassette :D)
I love and hate this crappy movie at the same time. :P Still, for me Bob Hoskins will stay Super Mario forever.

  • Hmm, 5 is a tall order, but how about 3?

    "Project Moon Base" http://imdb.com/title/tt0046213/
The script is from Heinlein, much to his detriment. Movies can be made worse, but only with extreme effort. My brain feels numb from the effort trying to hold the loose ends of this story together.

"The Brain from Planet Arous" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050210/
Somebody point this movie out to Zombie Feynman. Braaaiinsss!

    "Planet Outlaws" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0046192/
Edited bits of a cheesy old 30s series knocking off Flash Gordon. I regret watching this.

    Bagman is great !!

"Zombie Nation" is the way to go if you want to see a unbelievably bad movie (the front-cover of the dvd is by far the best of it): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0463392/
